A TashaStacker™ is a wider version of our standard metal topper. That extra width is intentional: wear it by itself for a bolder silhouette, or place a standard topper over it and the outer edge remains visible around your main design.

The whole TashaStacker system starts with the same material choice behind our standard toppers: thin, lightweight aluminum.
That matters when you're layering. Instead of starting with a bulky accessory and making it bulkier, we're stacking two intentionally slim pieces.

What is the difference between a standard topper and a TashaStacker™?
A TashaStacker is intentionally wider than our standard topper. It can be worn alone for a bolder silhouette or placed beneath a standard topper so that part of the TashaStacker remains visible around the outside.
Can I wear a TashaStacker™ by itself?
Absolutely. A TashaStacker does not require a second topper. Worn alone, its wider profile gives you more visible surface area and a bolder overall look.
Can I use the same TashaStacker™ with different toppers?
Yes, provided the toppers are made for the same compatible frame shape and the combination works with the selected options. That's one of the best parts of the system: changing the topper above it can create an entirely different look.
How thin is a stacked set?
A standard metal topper measures approximately 1.55 mm at the temples where the magnets sit and 0.55 mm at the bridge. When stacked with a TashaStacker, the set measures approximately 3.1 mm at the temples and 2.1 mm at the bridge.
Will two toppers feel heavy?
TashaStackers are made from lightweight aluminum and designed with layering in mind. A stacked set naturally has a little more structure than a single topper, but each finished topper weighs only about 3.4 grams.
Does stacking affect the magnetic connection?
TashaStackers™ have their own set of magnets and are designed to layer properly on compatible magnetic frames. We use strong N52 magnets rated at 300+ grams of pull force each, although real-world hold also depends on alignment, frame shape, fit, and the direction of force.
If a set ever seems unusually loose or isn't sitting correctly, send us a message and we'll be happy to check the fit.
Can every design be made as a TashaStacker™?
Many can, but availability depends on the design, frame shape, finish and customization options. The compatible options for the product you're ordering will appear during customization.
Which frame shapes are compatible with TashaStackers™?
TashaStackers are available for most of the compatible Pair Eyewear shapes and hybrids we offer.
They are currently not available for Addison, Brook, Cedro, Jessie, Otero, Payton, Serra, Soto, or Twain.
Availability can change as we add and refine shapes, so the product-page options are always the best indication of what is currently available.
Can you make my TashaStacker™ match my main topper?
Depending on the design, you may be able to choose a coordinated color, matching design, finish, texture, glitter treatment, or other available customization. Check the options shown on the product page for the combination you're building.
